Fahman Yoga is a former professional footballer in Indonesia. After his sporting career, he returned to his native village, Kanawat, in the Gayo region on the island of Sumatra, taking over the family farm. This is a village that has long been marked by armed conflict, keeping coffee buyers away. In partnership with Adena Coffee, they have turned the situation around by starting to collect and process coffees from local producers (as in this microlot). This coffee uses the Wet Hulled process (similar to the washed method), which consists of removing the parchment when it reaches 30% humidity (washed method 11%) to better manage the drying of the beans. With this process and our light roasting, we have notes of tropical fruits and spices, with sweetness and a silky body. With Adena, they were the first to win the Indonesian Cup of Excellence, in 2023, with a wet hulled process coffee.
